Notice on flying from Los Angeles to China
To protect the health and safety of passengers and aircrew, and prevent a resurgence of COVID-19 in China, on December 19, 2020, the Chinese embassy and consulates in the United States once again recommended travelers avoid all nonessential and non-urgent travels. The notice adjusted the requirements for the Nucleic Acid rt-PCR and IgM Serum Antibody Tests for passengers who have urgent need of travel.
Starting from 0:00 on December 23, 2020 Pacific Time, Chinese passengers and foreign passengers alike, unless infants or children under 3 years old, must take the Nucleic Acid rt-PCR and IgM Serum Antibody Test performed by testing institutions designated by the consulate in Los Angeles within 2 days before check-in. Upon receiving the negative reports, passengers should upload them immediately to apply for the health code for boarding.
In case of any items not covered hereby, please refer to the Notice on the Requirement Adjustment of the Nucleic Acid rt-PCR and IgM Serum Antibody Tests released by Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Los Angeles for further information.
Your understanding and cooperation is much appreciated. Thank you!
