CEO&President Xie Bing of Xiamen Airlines Attended IATA World Safety & Operations Conference and Announced Xiamen Airlines’ Hosting the 2025 Conference

From October 1 to 3, 2024, Xie Bing, CEO&President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Xiamen Airlines, led a team to attend the 2024 World Safety & Operations Conference of IATA (International Air Transport Association) in Morocco. Over 800 experts and scholars from government departments, airlines, industry organizations, and aviation suppliers around the world attended the conference. At the closing ceremony of the conference, Xie Bing delivered a keynote speech, announcing that Xiamen Airlines would host the next conference and warmly inviting industry peers to visit Xiamen next year. At the conference, the official preheating video of the 2025 conference was officially unveiled, recommending Xiamen Airlines and Xiamen, the city where its headquarters is located.

During the conference, Xie Bing met with several leaders in the field of aviation safety, including Nick Careen, Senior Vice President of Operations, Safety, and Security at IATA, Yannick Malinge, Senior Vice President of Air Passenger Aviation Safety, and Dominique Mineo, CEO of CEFA, the supplier of flight data simulation systems. They had in-depth discussions on specific matters related to hosting the next conference, air passenger fleet operations, safety management, flight training, etc.

As the largest and highest-level conference for global airlines on aviation safety, flight operations, and infrastructure, the IATA World Safety & Operations Conference has covered multiple safety areas, including flight operations, cabin management, maintenance, and emergency management, and become an important platform for airline decision-makers and industry professionals to discuss the hottest and globally strategic safety and operations issues and establish development partnerships.
