Xiamen Airlines Awarded by IATA for Paperless Customs Clearance Solution

On May 28, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) conducted a committee congress to work on paperless customs clearance, which was the first one of 2020 due to the coronavirus. The achievements in paperless customs clearance of 2019 were reported, before the discussion on promoting paperless customs clearance service with guaranteed quality in the post-pandemic era. During the committee congress, regarding the exceptional performance, Xiamen Airlines was awarded by IATA the title of “2019 Outstanding Airline Company with Advanced Offsite Check-in Solution”. 


In 2019, the electronic customs clearance rate of Xiamen Airlines increased by 68% compared to the previous year demonstrates our leadership in the industry.
