Xiamen Hub Transfer Service
Ⅰ. Applicable provisions and the corresponding explanation
1. Transfer passengers meeting the following conditions are eligible for Xiamen Airlines interline transfer services:
1.1 Purchase Xiamen Airlines interline tickets under the same ticket number.
1.2 The actual operating carrier is Xiamen Airlines. Passengers taking code-share flights are not eligible for interline transfer services.
1.3 Transfer with connection at Xiamen Airport.
1.4 Xiamen Airlines only provides interline transfer services to passengers with self-care ability (certified by Xiamen Airlines ). Unaccompanied minor/senior citizen are not eligible for interline transfer services.Miners under 16 years old shall apply for interline transfer service accompanied by adult relatives;
1.5 Interline through check-in is only available for flights on the same day. Special Notes: This service is available for passengers taking two domestic flights both with Xiamen Airlines via Xiamen Airport, but it is subject to the regulations of the originating station. Passengers with flights departing from Beijing, Changchun, Chongqing, Changsha, Dalian, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Harbin, Haikou, Hangzhou, Hefei, Jinan, Kunming, Nanjing, Nanning, Tsingtao, Shanghai Hongqiao, Shenyang, Taiyuan, Tianjin, Wuhan, Xi’an, Xining, Yinchuan, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Ningbo, Guilin and Liuzhou airports with connection international/regional flights via Xiamen Airport, which were both operated by Xiamen Airlines, may also enjoy the through check-in service at the originating airport. 2. Minimum Connection Time on Xiamen Airport:
2.1 Domestic to Domestic: 60 min.
2.2 Domestic- International/regional :90min
2.3 International/regional-International/regional, International/regional- Domestic:120min
3. Important:
3.1 Check-in counters close 30 minutes before scheduled time of departure for domestic flight and 45 minutes before scheduled time of departure for international/regional flight.
3.2 Boarding gates close 15 minutes before scheduled time of departure.
3.3 For better service, please keep the boarding pass for your preceding flight segment.
Ⅱ. Service guides for international/regional to international/regional transfer service
1. General process:
Arrival at Xiamen Airport Terminal 3 - Entry formalities (Immigration & Customs) - Exit formalities (Customs) - Check-in for onward flight - Exit formalities (Emigration) - Security check – Waiting for departure and boarding
2. Minimum Connection Time: 120 min.
3. Passengers with fever, vomiting, diarrhea and other diseases must report to the Customs officers.
4. Immigration/Emigration:
4.1 General procedure: go through the Entry/Transit formalities at the Immigration/Emigration counter with your valid travel documents and itineraries.
4.2 Gentle Reminder: Please consult China's State Immigration Administration about the specific exit and entry policies in advance.

4.3 72 hour visa-free transit.
5. Baggage:
Passengers taking international/regional flights and transfer via Xiamen to other international/regional destinations with both segments operated by Xiamen Airlines at the same day, are eligible for through check-in baggage at the originating airport and do not need to pick up the checked baggage at Xiamen Airport.
6. Check-in Counter for onward flights:
Counter E, International Departure Hall on the second floor (Tips: Check-in counters close 45 minutes before scheduled time of departure for international/regional flights and please arrive at the boarding gate 15 minutes before scheduled time of departure).

Ⅲ. Service guides for international/regional to domestic transfer service
1. General process:
Arrival at Xiamen Airport Terminal 3 - Entry formalities (Immigration & Customs) - Check-in for onward flight - Security check – Waiting for departure and boarding.
2. Minimum Connection Time: 120 min.
3. Passengers with fever, vomiting, diarrhea and other diseases must report to the Customs officers.
4. Immigration:
4.1 General procedure: go through the Entry/Transit formalities at the Immigration counter with your valid travel documents and itineraries.

5. Baggage:
Passengers, transferring from international/regional stations where “Through Check-in” are not approved to Chinese domestic stations via Xiamen, need to claim and re-check luggage in at Xiamen airport, and go through the customs and security checks in accordance with relevant regulations and laws.
Passengers, transferring from international/regional stations where “Through Check-in” are approved to Chinese domestic stations via Xiamen with Xiamen airline, could check luggage through to the final destinations, which means passengers do not need to claim and re-check luggage in at Xiamen airport. (International stations available for through check-in service: Vancouver, Sydney, Melbourne, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh and Bali)
6. Check-in counter for onward flights:
B11 counter and others (except First Class check-in counter, Domestic Departure Hall on the second floor (Tips: Check-in counters close 30 minutes before scheduled time of departure for domestic flights and please arrive at the boarding gate 15 minutes before scheduled time of departure).

Ⅳ. Service guides for domestic to international/regional transfer service
1. General process:
Arrival at Xiamen Airport Terminal 3 - Exit formalities (Customs) - Check-in for onward international/regional flight - Exit formalities (Emigration) - Security check – Waiting for departure and boarding.
2. Minimum Connection Time: 90 min.
3. Passengers with fever, vomiting, diarrhea and other diseases must report to the Customs officers.
4. Emigration:
Go through the Entry/Transit formalities at the Emigration counter with your valid travel documents and itineraries.
5. Baggage:
5.1 Passengers taking Xiamen Airlines-operated domestic flights with connection on Xiamen Airlines international/regional flights via Xiamen Airport at the same day may enjoy the through check-in service (including both passenger and baggage) at the originating airport and do not need to pick up the checked baggage at Xiamen Airport. Check if the through check-in service is available at your originating airport. (see Clause 1.5 of this article)
5.2 Passengers taking domestic flights originating from the airports which the through check-in services are not available, and transferring via Xiamen to international/regional destinations, need to pick up the checked luggage at Xiamen Airport and check-in again to go through the customs and security checks.

Counter E, International Departure Hall on the second floor (Tips: Check-in counters close 45minutes before scheduled time of departure for international/regional flights and please arrive at the boarding gate 15 minutes before scheduled time of departure).

Ⅴ. Service guides for domestic to domestic transfer service
1. General process:
Through check-in at the originating station - Arrival at Xiamen Airport Terminal 3 – Confirm at the Transfer Counter (in the Security Control Area) – Waiting for departure and boarding.
2. Minimum Connection Time: 60 min.
3. Baggage:
3.1 Passengers taking domestic flights and transfer via Xiamen to domestic Chinese destinations with both segments operated by Xiamen Airlines, are eligible for through check-in at the originating airport and do not need to pick up the checked baggage at Xiamen Airport (subject to notification of the originating station).
3.2 Passengers taking domestic flights and transfer via Xiamen to domestic Chinese destinations with any segments not operated by Xiamen Airlines, are not eligible for through check-in at the originating airport and need to pick up the checked baggage at Xiamen Airport and check-in again.
4. Transfer counter:
4.1 In the Security Control Area: Comprehensive Services counter near Gate 5.
4.2 Outside Security Control Area: B11 counter and others (except First Class check-in counter), Domestic Departure Hall on the second floor.(Tips: Check-in counters close30minutes before scheduled time of departure for domestic flights and please arrive at the boarding gate 15 minutes before scheduled time of departure.)

Ⅵ. Transfer lounges
Xiamen Airlines offers free transfer lounge for transfer passengers matching the following conditions simultaneously:
1. Both legs of the flights (originating and onward flights) are operated by Xiamen Airlines (Not applicable for code-share or charter flights).
2. Transfer passengers with a lay-over in Xiamen between 2 to 24 hours. (Not applicable for E and X Class).
3. The entire itinerary via Xiamen should contain at least one international/regional flight.
4. Economic Class passengers please proceed to Transfer Counter for verification code for Transfer Lounge. The Transfer Lounge is located on B1 floor of Terminal 3.

Tips: Transfer passengers,who aresubject to transfer accommodation/transfer sightseeing conditions, could choose one of transfer accommodation/transfer sightseeing/ transfer lounge. Please refer to"VII.Transfer Sightseeing"or "VIII.Transfer Accommodation" for detail. The transfer lounge does not provide meals and hot food.
*Transfer Counter is located at the exit of Domestic Arrival Hall of Terminal 3, opposite to Gate 7 on the first floor.
Ⅶ. Transfer sightseeing
Xiamen Airlines offers free transfer sightseeing bus for transfer passengers subject to the following conditions simultaneously:
1. Both legs of the flights (originating and onward flights) are operated by Xiamen Airlines (Not applicable for code-share or charter flights).
2. Transfer passengers with a lay-over in Xiamen between 4 to 24 hours.(Not applicable for E and X Class).
3. The entire itinerary via Xiamen should contain at least one international/regional flight.
4. Transfer passengers subject toabove conditionscouldget<Sightseeing Bus Voucher >at Transfer Counter.Sightseeing buses station is outside the gate 12 on the 2nd floor of the Terminal 3. Please show your vouchers to get bus tickets on the bus.
5. The operation time for sightseeing bus is 8:30-16:30 andthe schedule might be changed influenced by bad weather.
6. Tips: Transfer passengers match transfer accommodation conditions, can choose one oftransfer accommodation/transfer sightseeing/transfer lounge. Please refer to "VI.Transfer Lounge"or "VIII.Transfer Accommodation" for detail.
*Transfer Counter is located at the exit of Domestic Arrival Hall of Terminal 3, opposite to Gate 7 on the first floor.
Ⅷ. Transfer accommodation
Xiamen Airlines offers free accommodation for transfer passengers matching the following conditions simultaneously:
1. Both legs of the flights (originating and onward flights) are operated by Xiamen Airlines (Not applicable for code-share or charter flights). So far, charter flights from/to Xiamen are: Chizhou (JUH), Siem Reap (REP) and Cebu (CEB).
2. Transfer passengers with a lay-over in Xiamen between 6 to 24 hours. (Not applicable for G/Z /E/X/O Class).
3. The entire itinerary via Xiamen should contain at least one international/regional flight.
4. The standard of free transfer accommodation is based on the original class of the international flight. The accommodation standard for passengers who upgrade to First / Business Class at the airport counter or on board is determined by the original class before upgrading:

*Free accommodation in this service refers to one standard room (two beds), which means two passengers with the same gender share one room.
5. Services provided by Xiamen Airlines include free accommodation for one night and free breakfast. The round-trip transportation between the airport and the hotel must be covered by passengers (only accept RMB).
6. Passengers taking transfer flight in the next day, please check out before 14:00pm the next day. Extra charges caused by late check-out shall be borne by passengers.
7. Xiamen Airline offers complimentary transit hotel accommodation for passengers as described above, which is not bundled with the ticket. Passengers can apply for this service at the transit counter, which is located at the gate of Domestic Arrival Hall of Terminal 3 and opposite to gate 7 on the first floor.

Notice: According to the regulation of Xiamen Public Security Bureau, Chinese passengers should offer their ID Cards for hotel occupancy and teens under the age of 16 should present their ID Cards or Household Register to check-in for the hotel.
