Fuzhou Hub Transfer Service

Ⅰ. Applicable Terms and Condition Descriptions

1.  The transfer services can be provided to the eligible transferred passengers ONLY when all the following requirements are met:

1.1 The connected tickets are issued by Xiamen Airlines and they are on the same ticket number or PNR;

1.2 The actual carrier for all the flights is Xiamen Airlines; code-share and chartered flights are not eligible for the transfer services;

1.3 Passengers should transfer at Fuzhou;

1.4 The transfer service is only available for passengers with the legal ability of self-care. It is not available for unaccompanied elderly people or children who need special care;

1.5 The transfer service of Through Check-in is only available for flights in the same day.

Special notes: Although this service is available for all domestic connection flights transferred at Fuzhou, it is still subject to specific rules and regulations of the departure airport; Passengers who take Xiamen Airlines from one of the 22 terminals of departure Dalian, Qingdao, Hangzhou, Shanghai, WuhanKunming, Jinan, Beijing, Tianjin, Nanjing, Nanning, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Harbin, Chongqing, Hefei, Yinchuan, Taiyuan, Xi'an, Xining, Shenyang and Changchun, to connect international or regional flights at Fuzhou are eligible for the service; passengers who take Xiamen Airlines from Guiyang or Changsha to connect transcontinental flights at Fuzhou are also eligible for the service. More terminals are being added to the list. Please refer to the announce on Xiamen Airlines’ official website and WeChat account.

2.  Minimum connection time at Fuzhou airport:

2.1 Domestic flights connected with domestic flights: 60minutes;

2.2 International/regional flights connected with domestic flights in mainland China or vice versa; or international/regional connected with international/regional flights: 90minutes.

3.  Tips:

3.1 Deadline for check-in: 30minutes before the scheduled time of departure for domestic flights, and 45 minutes for international(regional) flights;

3.2 Boarding gates will be close 15minutes before the scheduled departure time for all the flights;

3.3 For the better experience of the Through Check service, please keep the boarding pass of your previous flight.


Ⅱ. International/regional to international/regional flight connections

1.  General Procedures:

Arrival at Fuzhou airport ——Entry inspection(Immigration, customs and quarantine)——Exit inspection formalities(customs)——Check-in for connecting flight——Exit inspection formalities(Quarantine and immigration)——Security check——Waiting and boarding.

2.  Minimum connection time: 90minutes.

3.  Inspection and Quarantine:

China Inspection and Quarantine (CIQ) will conduct a check-up on all the passengers, and those who are suffering from symptoms or diseases including fever, vomiting or diarrhea shall report voluntarily to CIQ.

4.  Immigration Inspection:

General procedures: Prepare your valid travel documents and itinerary for the entry or transit formalities at the immigration counter.

5.  Baggage:

Through Check-in (for both passengers and baggage) service is currently not available for the international(regional) flights operated by Xiamen Airlines that is connected by international(regional) flights, and the passengers are required to have their baggage re-checked after claiming it at Fuzhou Airport.

6.  The location of the check-in counter for the connecting flights:

Counter B2 or other economy class counters. (International Departure Hall is on the 2nd floor).

 (Tips: The deadline for the check-in is 45minutes before time of departure, and you are required to be at the boarding gate at least 15minutes before the flight takes off).

Ⅲ. International/regional flights connecting to domestic flights in mainland China

1.  General Procedures:

Arrival in Fuzhou airport ——Entry inspection(Immigration, customs and quarantine)——Check-in for connecting flights——Security check——Waiting and boarding.

2.  Minimum connection time: 90minutes.

3.  Inspection and Quarantine:

China Inspection and Quarantine (CIQ) will conduct a check-up on all the passengers, and those who are suffering from symptoms or diseases including fever, vomiting or diarrhea shall report it to CIQ voluntarily.

4.  Immigration Inspection:

4.1 General procedures: Prepare your valid travel documents and itinerary for the entry or transit formalities at the immigration counter;

4.2  (Entry) visa waiver arrangement: Those who have a connecting ticket with a reserved seat and a stay in Mainland China no more than the stipulated number of hours.

5.  Baggage:

Passenger who take international(regional) flights transferred to domestic flights via Fuzhou Airport are required to claim their baggage and have it rechecked after completing customs formalities and security check as required.

6.  The location of the check-in counter for the connecting flights:

Counter 7 or other economy class counters(Domestic  Departure Hall is on the 2nd floor).

 (Tips: The deadline for the check-in is 30minutes before departure, and you are required to be at the boarding gate at least 15minutes before the flight takes off).

Ⅳ. Domestic flights connecting to international (regional) flights

1.  General Procedures:

Arrival in Fuzhou airport ——Entry inspection (customs)——Check-in for connecting flight——Exit inspection formalities (Quarantine and immigration)——Security check——Waiting and boarding.

2.  Minimum connection time: 90minutes.

3.  Inspection and Quarantine:

China Inspection and Quarantine (CIQ) will conduct a check-up on all the passengers, and those who are suffering from symptoms or diseases including fever, vomiting or diarrhea shall report voluntarily to CIQ.

4.  Immigration Inspection.

Prepare your valid travel documents and itinerary ready for the exit  or transit formalities at the immigration counter.

5.  Baggage:

5.1 At certain terminals of departure, Through Check-in (for both passengers and baggage) service is available for international/regional flights operated by Xiamen Airlines that is connected by same-day domestic flights transferred via Fuzhou. If passengers had their baggage checked through at any of the eligible terminals of departure, they are not required to have their baggage re-checked at Fuzhou Airport. 5.2 Passengers with an international (regional) connection flight via Fuzhou from a departure terminal where the though Check-in service is not available are required to claim their baggage and have it rechecked at Fuzhou Airport after completing the required inspection and security check formalities.

6.  The location of the check-in counter for the connecting flights:

Counter B2 or other economy class counters. (Domestic Departure Hall is on the 2nd floor).

Ⅴ. Domestic to domestic flight connections

1.  General Procedures:

Check-in for interline flights at terminal of departure——Arrival at Fuzhou Airport——Confirmed by the staff in the quarantined area——Waiting and boarding.

2.  Minimum connection time: 60minutes.

3.  Baggage:

3.1 Passengers who fly to other domestic destinations via Fuzhou by taking the flights operated by Xiamen Airlines at both terminals of departure and transfer, are eligible for the Through Check-in (for both passengers and baggage) service at the terminal of departure, and are not required to claim their baggage or have it rechecked at Fuzhou Airport (It is subject to the announces made by the terminal of departure).

3.2 Passengers who fly to other domestic destinations via Fuzhou on flights not operated by Xiamen Airlines at either the terminal of departure or the terminal of transfer are not eligible for Though Check-in (for both passengers and baggage) service. They are required to claim their baggage and have it rechecked at Fuzhou Airport.

4.  Other Circumstances:

In case the previous flight has arrived at a remote parking bay and passengers fail to go to the quarantined departure area directly, they may go to the corresponding boarding gate by re-entering the quarantined area after completing the security check.

 (Tips: The deadline for the check-in is 30minutes before departure, and you are required to be at the boarding gate at least 15minutes before the flight takes off).

Ⅵ. Lounge Service For Transfer Passengers

We offer free lounge service for passengers who meet ALL of the following requirements:

 

1.  The departure flight and the connecting flight are both operated by Xiamen Airlines(not applicable to code-share and chartered flights).

2.  Passengers whose connection time at Fuzhou is between 2 and 24 hours(not applicable to those taking Class E and X).

3.  The entire itinerary via Fuzhou should contain at least one international/regional flight.

4.  Besides the transfer lounge service, passengers who take First Class, and Business Class, Egret Silver and Gold members who meet the requirements above can also enjoy the first class lounge service.

5.  Passengers of the Economy class need to get a verification code for transfer lounge service at transfer counter, with which you may get access to the transfer lounge on the 3rd floor.

6.  The transfer lounge opens at 6:00 and closes 30 minutes before the departure time of the last flight. Overnight service is not available at the transfer lounge.

7.  Tips: Passengers eligible for transfer accommodation services may choose either accommodation or transfer lounge service. Please click (7. Transfer Accommodation) for details; meals or hot food are not currently available at the transfer lounge.

8.  The transfer service counter is located at the Fuzhou Travel Information Center near Gate No.4 in the terminal and opposite to the Domestic Arrival Hall on the first floor.


Ⅶ. Accommodation for transfer passengers

We offer transfer accommodation service for passengers who meet all of the following requirements:

1.  The flight at the terminal of departure and the connecting flight are both operated by Xiamen Airlines(not applicable to code-share and chartered flights).

2.  Passengers whose connection time at Fuzhou is between 6 and 24 hours(not applicable to those in class G, Z, X, O and E).

3.  The entire itinerary via Fuzhou should contain at least one international/regional flight.

4.  Standards for free transfer hotel and check-in requirements(subject to the class of international route):

5.  Services provided by Xiamen Airlines include free accommodation for one night and free breakfast. The round-trip transportation between the airport and the hotel requires self-care.

6.  In case you take a transfer flight on the following day, please check out before 14:00. All the expenses caused by delayed check-out shall be at your expense.

7.  The transfer accommodation service, which is not bundled with ticket sales, is offered free of charge to passengers who have met all the requirements above; if you need the service, please apply at the transfer counter. The transfer service counter is located at the Fuzhou Travel Information Center near Gate No.4 inside the terminal and opposite to the Domestic Arrival Hall on the first floor.

Notes: The chartered flights from/to Fuzhou are: Fuzhou-Cebu (MF8013/MF8014) and Fuzhou-Siem Reap (MF8669/MF8670). The transfer passengers who purchase tickets for the above two routes are ineligible for the complimentary transfer accommodation service.
