1. Fare combination is allowed for different booking classes for discounted round-trip and interline tickets. Corresponding provisions are applicable for the class of each segment.

General Rules:

1. The above fare conditions apply to Peak Seasons (01Jul-31Aug & Spring Festival) with both Ticket Issuing Date and Travelling Date are on or after March 25, 2018. Group fares and other special promotion fares are subject to other corresponding fare rules. Off-peak period please refer to Xiamen Airlines Fare Terms and Conditions in Shoulder and Low Seasons.

2. These terms and conditions only apply to situations where a FIT (free and independent) passenger requests a voluntary ticket change and voluntary ticket refund with above booking class. Other booking classes and conditions not specified herewith, please refer to Xiamen Airlines General Conditions of Domestic Carriage for Passengers & Baggage.

3. The air ticket agency shall strictly follow above fare terms and conditions and it is not permitted to sell higher class with lower fare. If there is any fraud occurred, the air ticket agency must pay for the fare difference and a penalty shall be imposed as per applicable regulations.

4. To avoid complaints, the air ticket agency shall inform passengers on above terms and conditions upon passenger’s purchasing the air ticket.

5. Certificate of Irregular Flight is not the unique proof to ask for involuntary change/refund. For involuntary change/refund, a business seal with description of the flight irregularity provided by the authorized ground service agent or the verification of flight irregularity information from Xiamen Airlines’ local ticketing office (or MF call center 95557) are required. And passengers shall submit such documents to complete the involuntary change/refund. If there is any fraud occurred, the violator will be punished pursuant to applicable regulations. Passangers must be charged as voluntary change/refund if refund or cancellation occurred before the official announcement of irregular flight.

6. For tickets on which penalties or service charges may apply, the air ticket agency shall charge the relevant fees upon completing the Refund and Change Service Fees Chart or EMD.

7. The service fees of change and refund listed in the table above are based on the GDS Displayed Fares as per individual booking classes. The amount should be rounded up to 1 CNY.

8. Any request on ticket change, refund and endorsement shall be made within the validity period of the ticket.

9. The Scheduled Departure Time refers to the departure time of the flight displayed on the E-ticket itinerary. The service fees for change and refund listed in the table above are based on the time of reservation cancellation.

10. Person requesting refund shall offer a valid ID document of the passenger whose name as same as that shown on the ticket. If the person to whom the refund will be made is not the one shown on the ticket, then the valid ID documents of both the passenger listed on ticket and the person who will be refunded to shall be presented. If calling 95557(MF call center) for voluntarily change or cancelation of reservations, it’s highly appreciated to offer the names of passengers, valid ID numbers, routings and flight date to the call center staff during the conversation.

11. Refund of paper tickets may be made only after presenting all unused flight coupons and passenger coupons. If an itinerary has been printed, refund of E-tickets only can be made after retrieving such itinerary.

12. A passenger who voluntarily terminates his or her trip at a stopover of the flight shall not require Xiamen Airlines to further provide the carriage from the stopover to the destination. And requesting for ticket change or refund is not permitted,all such E-tickets will be made invalid.

13. A child is charged 50% of adult published fare (full fare) for Cabins F/J/Y, while an infant is charged 10% of adult published fare (full fare) for Cabins F/J/Y. Regardless of specified booking class or other discount booking class, “CHD” shall be marked behind the children passenger name on the tickets so that the children could be eligible for the exemption from fuel surcharge and Civil Aviation Development Fund (airport tax).

14. In case of refund or change of a child ticket, the service fee is subject to the rules of adult tickets applicable to the F/J/Y classes of service. Child Ticket purchased with adult fare on T class is subject to the change/refund rules of adult tickets applicable to T class.

15. With the requirement of civil aviation security of CAAC, each flight is limited to carry a restrictive number of infants. Please apply for reservation for infant ticket ahead of time. Without advanced reservation for infant ticket or rushed purchase of infant ticket at airport ticketing counter, hereby the infant carriage might be rejected and the accompanied passengers’ tickets shall be proceed in accordance with the regulations specified in “voluntary change” or “voluntary refund”.

16. An infant shall not occupy a seat. If an infant needs to occupy a seat, a ticket with applicable child fare shall be purchased. If a passenger carries more than one infant at the same time, child fare will be charged for the second and other infants. It’s not allowed to carry infants alone by passengers under 18 years old except the infants are their own babies.

17. Children and infants must be booked on the same class of service with at least one adult. They are not allowed to buy tickets in economy class, business class or first class of service alone. Passengers who carry children or infants, if change class of service, should have their children or infants’ tickets changed simultaneously. So that the under-age passengers and adults can be in combination with each other.

18. Children on board should have the company with people of full capacity for civil conduct; otherwise they have to go through the unaccompanied children transportation formalities (This regulation only applies to children within 5-12 years old age). It’s forbidden to convey unaccompanied children under 5 years old.

19. Passengers such as unaccompanied minors, VIPs, persons who need wheels or stretchers, persons who are restricted for carriage can only purchase tickets at Xiamen Airlines’ own ticketing offices or authorized air ticket agencies. Acceptance for carriage of foresaid passengers is subject to prior consent and arrangement with Xiamen Airlines and other carriers in accordance with carrier’s regulations. If the request for special assistance was put forward by the passenger after purchasing the ticket, Xiamen Airlines may refuse the carriage and will proceed in accordance with the regulations specified in “voluntary refund”.

20. Unaccompanied children and passengers who need stretchers with special needs are not allowed to use awarded mileages to redeem free tickets. For unaccompanied minors, only tickets in classes of F/J/Y can be purchased with 50%of the full adult fare correspondingly. The promotional and discount fares are not applicable to passengers who need stretchers. They should purchase three tickets with full fare in classes F/J/Y while the Civil Aviation Development Fund and fuel surcharge are only charged once.

Applicability:

These terms and conditions apply to Xiamen Airlines-operated domestic flights and MF-coded, other carriers-operated domestic flights ticketed on Xiamen Airlines’ domestic ticket stock (including BSP ticket confirmed by “731”), and also apply to Xiamen Airlines’ domestic flights ticketed on the ticket stock of other carriers which have signed sub-class sales agreement with Xiamen Airlines.

Further information:

(I) Reservation

1. Reservation: Classes listed in the table above are categorized as reservation acceptable and reservation unacceptable which are based on the specific information in the booking system (GDS).

2. Time limit for ticket issuance depends on the information specified in the booking system. A reservation would be cancelled if the ticket was not issued before the time limit set by Xiamen Airlines.

3. Open ticket: means ticket without indicating the specific flight and date of travel. Subject to applicable rules for classes of service listed in the table above. For open ticket, a reservation shall be made for the outbound flight. For non-open ticket, the reservation shall be made for both outbound and inbound flights.

(II) Fares

1. Fare refers to the actual amount listed on the ticket, excluding taxes and charges such as Civil Aviation Development Fund (Airport Tax) and fuel surcharge.

2. Fares for different classes of service listed on the ticket should be the actual amount paid by the passenger which is rounded up to 10 CNY.

(III) Ticket issuance

1. The fare basis shall be inputted according to the requirements published in the booking system.

2. If the ticket is subject to any restrictions, the “endorsement (EI)” field of the ticket shall be marked with relevant restrictions such as “Non-endorsable/changeable/refundable”.

3. For interline or round-trip tickets with combination of different classes of service, the stricter restrictions of lower class shall be filled in the “endorsement (EI)” field of the ticket according to the “Refund/endorsement” regulations.

(IV) Ticket Validity

1. Validity means the period of time for which passenger ticket is valid for. Unless otherwise specified, partially used ticket is valid for carriage for one year from the date of commencement of travel, while wholly unused ticket is valid from the date of issuance of the ticket.

2. The validity of a ticket begins from midnight on the date of commencement of travel or the date of issuance, until midnight on the date of expiration.

(V) Change of Ticket

1. Voluntary changes are only limited to changes of flights, dates of travel and classes of service under the circumstances of the same routing and available booking class, otherwise it shall be treated as upgrading or downgrading. Changing carrier (Endorsement) is subjected to the specifications more hereof later.

2. In case of voluntary upgrading, a change fee and the fare difference between the original class and the new class will be charged.

3. In case of voluntary downgrading, the ticket in the original booking class is refunded. A refund service fee is charged and a new ticket shall be purchased.

4. If class change is requested again after a voluntary change, the regulations of the revised class shall apply. A change fee will be charged for the original ticket while the previous change fee is non-refundable.

5. In case of voluntary ticket change,if GDS fare is adjusted, we shall look upon the real-time fare display and shall not return for the overpaid but demand for the short collection. As for the change fee, the regulations of the original class shall apply.

6. Involuntary change is subject to Xiamen Airlines General Conditions of Domestic Carriage for Passengers and Baggage.

(VI) Voluntary Refund

1. In case of refund of a ticket which has been changed on flight/dates voluntarily, a refund fee should be charged according to the rules of corresponding classes based on the flight date shown on the changed ticket. And the previous change fee (collected before the refund) is not refundable.

2. In case of refund of a ticket which has been changed on class of service (upgrading), for the tickets which was upgraded by using “OI” entry, refund service fee shall be charged according to the rules of the class of service shown on the ticket before the latest change. The fare difference collected by the latest upgrading shall be totally refunded. In case of refund of a ticket which has been reissued, the refund service fee shall be charged according to the rules of the original class of service indicated on the “EI” field of the new ticket. The previous change fee (collected before the refund) is not refundable.

3. Application for refund should be made within 30 days after expiration date of the ticket. Otherwise the air fare, Civil Aviation Development Fund (airport tax) and fuel surcharge are not refundable.

4. In case of refund of an open ticket, a refund fee is charged according to the rules of the case that refund requesting 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time displayed on the E-tickets with the corresponding classes of service.

5. Refund due to illness or death:

(1) If a passenger requests for refund due to illness, according to Xiamen Airlines regulations, he/she shall cancel seat 2 hours before the scheduled departure time and present a real and valid medical certificate issued by hospital or official medical organization above the county level or the level 2, proving that he/she is not fit for travel by air on the flight date as shown on the ticket (including diagnosis certificate, hospital receipt and original medical record, which should be issued earlier than the departure time listed on the ticket and the amount should not be less than CNY100). All of the original documents listed above should be presented and the duplicated copy should be submitted upon requesting for refund; and also all these documents shall be checked and verified by Xiamen Airlines. No cancellation fees will be charged then.

(2) If a person accompanying the sick passenger requests for refund, he/she must present the copy of the sick passenger’s ticket and relevant certificates or documents, and conduct the refund procedure together with the sick passenger concurrently. No cancellation fees will be charged for the accompanied passenger too. If person accompanying the sick passenger does not conduct the refund procedure together with the sick passenger concurrently, cancellation fees will be charged according to the refund rules of corresponding class of the ticket. For each sick passenger, only two accompanied passengers are allowed to be waived the cancellation fee.

(3) Neither the incapacitated passenger or the sick or accompanied passengers will be exempted from the refund fee under the following circumstances: the incapacitated or sick passenger cancelled the seat or made the refund 2 hours (included) after the scheduled departure time displayed on the E-tickets or after the plane took off; or the documents provided could not meet the requirements of Xiamen Airlines. And the refund service fee will be charged according to the rules of the corresponding fare basis of a ticket.

(4) Refund due to death:

a) Involuntary refund rules apply to the case that the death took place before the commencement of travel.

b) Voluntary refund rules apply to the case that the death took place after the commencement of travel.

c) In the event of death of a passenger take place before the commencement of travel, his/her accompanied passengers should provide a death certificate and conduct the refund procedure together with the dead passenger concurrently. Involuntary refund rules apply to the accompanied passengers (no more than 2 persons) too.

d) In the event death of his/her immediate family member took place before the commencement of travel, the passenger should provide a Death Proof and a kinship certificate upon requesting for refund. After verified, Xiamen Airlines may apply for involuntary refund rules.

To request for a refund due to death of passenger, Death Proof of the passenger should be provided which must be issued by related government office in the country where the death took place. To request for a refund due to death of passenger’s immediate family member, both Death Proof and kinship certificate must be provided. The kinship certificate must prove the dead one is his/her immediate family member and it should be issued by related government office.

(VII) Involuntary Refund

1. Refund at the original place: A full refund is made (without charging refund fee).

2. Refund at the stopover or alternative airport: The refund value shall be ensured enough for passenger to travel onward and arrive the destination, but shall not exceed the original fare paid. The civil aviation development fund (airport tax) and fuel surcharge are not refundable.

3. If a portion of the ticket has been used, deduct the amount of fare on the used sectors and used taxes/charges, and refund the remaining amount. The refunded amount shall not be higher than the fare paid. No refund fee shall be charged.

4. Involuntary refund can be processed in Xiamen Airlines’ ticketing office or special authorized air agency in the place of original purchase, commencement of journey, stopover, or breakpoint of travel, or in MF’s authorized ground handling agency in the place where the cause of involuntary refund happens.

(VIII) Loss of Ticket

1. Loss of Ticket only applies to paper tickets.

2. The Xiamen Airlines General Conditions of Domestic Carriage for Passengers and Baggage shall apply.

(IX) Endorsement

1. An endorsement only could be made for the endorsable ticket bearing the same fares, class of service and class code between two carriers. If there was no available space with the same class of service on the flights of other carrier, a voluntary refund should be made and a new ticket of other carrier should be purchased. In case there is fare difference on same class of service between Xiamen Airlines and the other carrier to be endorsed:

A) If the fare of Xiamen Airlines is lower than the other carrier, the fare difference will be collected before the endorsement is made.

B) If the fare of Xiamen Airlines is higher than the other carrier, the fare difference is not refundable. Or a voluntary refund will be made and a new ticket of other carrier should be purchased.

2. An endorsement request for endorsable ticket shall be made at least 24 hours (included) prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight displayed on the E-tickets. If the request is made within 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time or after the plane took off, a change fee should be charged according to the rule of voluntary change made after taking off with the corresponding class of service.

3. If a passenger made a voluntary endorsement request for a non-endorsable ticket, a voluntary refund rules of corresponding classes of service apply. When involuntary endorsement concerning reissuing tickets, the new ticket “endorsement (EI)” field should be notified with capital letter “QZ” and followed by the regulations of corresponding class of other carriers. For example, “QZ non-endorsable, non-changeable, non-refundable.”

Further notice will be provided if there is any change.

Regardless of specified booking class or other discount booking class, “CHD” shall be marked behind the children passenger name on the tickets so that the children could be eligible for the exemption from fuel surcharge and Civil Aviation Development Fund (airport tax).

14. In case of refund or change of a child ticket, the service fee is subject to the rules of adult tickets applicable to the F/J/Y classes of service. Child Ticket purchased with adult fare on T class is subject to the change/refund rules of adult tickets applicable to T class.

15. With the requirement of civil aviation security of CAAC, each flight is limited to carry a restrictive number of infants. Please apply for reservation for infant ticket ahead of time. Without advanced reservation for infant ticket or rushed purchase of infant ticket at airport ticketing counter, hereby the infant carriage might be rejected and the accompanied passengers’ tickets shall be proceed in accordance with the regulations specified in “voluntary change” or “voluntary refund”.

The promotional and discount fares are not applicable to passengers who need stretchers. They should purchase three tickets with full fare in classes F/J/Y while the Civil Aviation Development Fund and fuel surcharge are only charged once.

3. For interline or round-trip tickets with combination of different classes of service, the stricter restrictions of lower class shall be filled in the “endorsement (EI)” field of the ticket according to the “Refund/endorsement” regulations.

(IV) Ticket Validity

1. Validity means the period of time for which passenger ticket is valid for. Unless otherwise specified, partially used ticket is valid for carriage for one year from the date of commencement of travel, while wholly unused ticket is valid from the date of issuance of the ticket.

2. The validity of a ticket begins from midnight on the date of commencement of travel or the date of issuance, until midnight on the date of expiration.

(V) Change of Ticket

1. Voluntary changes are only limited to changes of flights, dates of travel and classes of service under the circumstances of the same routing and available booking class, otherwise it shall be treated as upgrading or downgrading. Changing carrier (Endorsement) is subjected to the specifications more hereof later.

2. In case of voluntary upgrading, a change fee and the fare difference between the original class and the new class will be charged.

3. In case of voluntary downgrading, the ticket in the original booking class is refunded. A refund service fee is charged and a new ticket shall be purchased.

4. If class change is requested again after a voluntary change, the regulations of the revised class shall apply. A change fee will be charged for the original ticket while the previous change fee is non-refundable.

5. In case of voluntary ticket change,if GDS fare is adjusted, we shall look upon the real-time fare display and shall not return for the overpaid but demand for the short collection. As for the change fee, the regulations of the original class shall apply.

6. Involuntary change is subject to Xiamen Airlines General Conditions of Domestic Carriage for Passengers and Baggage.

(VI) Voluntary Refund

1. In case of refund of a ticket which has been changed on flight/dates voluntarily, a refund fee should be charged according to the rules of corresponding classes based on the flight date shown on the changed ticket. And the previous change fee (collected before the refund) is not refundable.

2. In case of refund of a ticket which has been changed on class of service (upgrading), for the tickets which was upgraded by using “OI” entry, refund service fee shall be charged according to the rules of the class of service shown on the ticket before the latest change. The fare difference collected by the latest upgrading shall be totally refunded. In case of refund of a ticket which has been reissued, the refund service fee shall be charged according to the rules of the original class of service indicated on the “EI” field of the new ticket. The previous change fee (collected before the refund) is not refundable.

3. Application for refund should be made within 30 days after expiration date of the ticket. Otherwise the air fare, Civil Aviation Development Fund (airport tax) and fuel surcharge are not refundable.

4. In case of refund of an open ticket, a refund fee is charged according to the rules of the case that refund requesting 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time displayed on the E-tickets with the corresponding classes of service.

5. Refund due to illness or death:

(1) If a passenger requests for refund due to illness, according to Xiamen Airlines regulations, he/she shall cancel seat 2 hours before the scheduled departure time and present a real and valid medical certificate issued by hospital or official medical organization above the county level or the level 2, proving that he/she is not fit for travel by air on the flight date as shown on the ticket (including diagnosis certificate, hospital receipt and original medical record, which should be issued earlier than the departure time listed on the ticket and the amount should not be less than CNY100). All of the original documents listed above should be presented and the duplicated copy should be submitted upon requesting for refund; and also all these documents shall be checked and verified by Xiamen Airlines. No cancellation fees will be charged then.

(2) If a person accompanying the sick passenger requests for refund, he/she must present the copy of the sick passenger’s ticket and relevant certificates or documents, and conduct the refund procedure together with the sick passenger concurrently. No cancellation fees will be charged for the accompanied passenger too. If person accompanying the sick passenger does not conduct the refund procedure together with the sick passenger concurrently, cancellation fees will be charged according to the refund rules of corresponding class of the ticket. For each sick passenger, only two accompanied passengers are allowed to be waived the cancellation fee.

(3) Neither the incapacitated passenger or the sick or accompanied passengers will be exempted from the refund fee under the following circumstances: the incapacitated or sick passenger cancelled the seat or made the refund 2 hours (included) after the scheduled departure time displayed on the E-tickets or after the plane took off; or the documents provided could not meet the requirements of Xiamen Airlines. And the refund service fee will be charged according to the rules of the corresponding fare basis of a ticket.

(4) Refund due to death:

a) Involuntary refund rules apply to the case that the death took place before the commencement of travel.

b) Voluntary refund rules apply to the case that the death took place after the commencement of travel.

c) In the event of death of a passenger take place before the commencement of travel, his/her accompanied passengers should provide a death certificate and conduct the refund procedure together with the dead passenger concurrently. Involuntary refund rules apply to the accompanied passengers (no more than 2 persons) too.

d) In the event death of his/her immediate family member took place before the commencement of travel, the passenger should provide a Death Proof and a kinship certificate upon requesting for refund. After verified, Xiamen Airlines may apply for involuntary refund rules.

To request for a refund due to death of passenger, Death Proof of the passenger should be provided which must be issued by related government office in the country where the death took place. To request for a refund due to death of passenger’s immediate family member, both Death Proof and kinship certificate must be provided. The kinship certificate must prove the dead one is his/her immediate family member and it should be issued by related government office.

(VII) Involuntary Refund

1. Refund at the original place: A full refund is made (without charging refund fee).

2. Refund at the stopover or alternative airport: The refund value shall be ensured enough for passenger to travel onward and arrive the destination, but shall not exceed the original fare paid. The civil aviation development fund (airport tax) and fuel surcharge are not refundable.

3. If a portion of the ticket has been used, deduct the amount of fare on the used sectors and used taxes/charges, and refund the remaining amount. The refunded amount shall not be higher than the fare paid. No refund fee shall be charged.

4. Involuntary refund can be processed in Xiamen Airlines’ ticketing office or special authorized air agency in the place of original purchase, commencement of journey, stopover, or breakpoint of travel, or in MF’s authorized ground handling agency in the place where the cause of involuntary refund happens.

(VIII) Loss of Ticket

1. Loss of Ticket only applies to paper tickets.

2. The Xiamen Airlines General Conditions of Domestic Carriage for Passengers and Baggage shall apply.

(IX) Endorsement

1. An endorsement only could be made for the endorsable ticket bearing the same fares, class of service and class code between two carriers. If there was no available space with the same class of service on the flights of other carrier, a voluntary refund should be made and a new ticket of other carrier should be purchased. In case there is fare difference on same class of service between Xiamen Airlines and the other carrier to be endorsed:

A) If the fare of Xiamen Airlines is lower than the other carrier, the fare difference will be collected before the endorsement is made.

B) If the fare of Xiamen Airlines is higher than the other carrier, the fare difference is not refundable. Or a voluntary refund will be made and a new ticket of other carrier should be purchased.

2. An endorsement request for endorsable ticket shall be made at least 24 hours (included) prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight displayed on the E-tickets. If the request is made within 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time or after the plane took off, a change fee should be charged according to the rule of voluntary change made after taking off with the corresponding class of service.

3. If a passenger made a voluntary endorsement request for a non-endorsable ticket, a voluntary refund rules of corresponding classes of service apply. When involuntary endorsement concerning reissuing tickets, the new ticket “endorsement (EI)” field should be notified with capital letter “QZ” and followed by the regulations of corresponding class of other carriers. For example, “QZ non-endorsable, non-changeable, non-refundable.”
