Notice on Taking Xiamen Airlines Flights

According to CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) prevention policies of COVID-19, Xiamen Airlines is taking strict measures to protect the health of our passengers and prevent the spread of the disease. This includes temperature screening by Non-contact Body Infrared Thermometer at check-in counters and boarding gates. You are required to wear a facemask in the airport, while boarding and during the entire flight. Any passenger with fever (≥37.3℃), fatigue, cough or other flu-like symptoms, or who conceals their symptoms by taking fever medicine to control temperature will be denied boarding. If any passenger who refuse temperature screening will also be denied boarding .

Any inbound passengers to China who intentionally conceal or falsely declare their health conditions or overseas travel history (including Taiwan, HongKong SAR and Macao SAR), who refuse to be placed under medical observation in designated places or receive medical treatment, who fail to abide by regulations on home quarantine or act in other ways that disrupt epidemic prevention and control efforts, will be held accountable by laws and regulations.

According to a guideline jointly released by five authorities - the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice and the Central Administration of Customs of P.R.China, those who have the following behaviors will be identified as disturbing border health and quarantine:

The infected or the suspected of being infected who refuse to make a health statement, take temperature screening, medical inspection, epidemiological history investigation, medical sampling; or object to isolation, detention quarantine, on-site testing, referral or any other measures that are adopted by customs according to Boarder Health and Quarantine Law.

The infected or the suspected of being infected who intentionally conceal their infectious diseases by means such as falsely reporting their health conditions, or forging or altering the health statement card.

Anyone knowing or ought to know that special items such as microorganisms, human tissue, biological products, blood, or their derivative products, which are subject to approval management, might cause transmission of quarantined infectious diseases, but escapes quarantine without approval, and make cross-border transport or mailing.

Those who refuse to perform other quarantine measures from the customs in accordance with laws and regulations such as the Boarder Health and Quarantine Law.
