Name or ID Information Correction for Incorrectly Booked Tickets

 

If you have entered incorrect passenger names or valid ID information due to personal reasons while purchasing Xiamen Airlines (731)-validated tickets, we will correct such errors upon verification of the necessary information according to the following rules:

I. Free Correction to Chinese Name Errors

If there are reasonable errors in your Chinese name on your ticket, such as name repetition, rare character errors, homophones, or similar-looking character errors, you may contact Xiamen Airlines' 95557 customer service center for correction.

II. Free Correction to English Name or ID Information Errors

If there are the following reasonable errors in your English name or ID information on your ticket, you may contact Xiamen Airlines' 95557 customer service center or Xiamen Airlines' overseas direct sales offices for correction.

III. Other Correction Items

(I) If the Chinese name on your ticket is correct, but there are individual digit errors in the ID information, you may contact the original ticket purchase place, Xiamen Airlines' 95557 customer service center, or Xiamen Airlines' domestic and overseas direct sales offices for correction. Once the ID information is changed, we no longer support changing the name on your ticket. Please understand.

(II) If the ID information on your ticket is correct, but the name is incorrect due to different regional phonetic grammars, such as changing the Hong Kong and Taiwan phonetic alphabet CHU / HUNG CHANG to the Chinese Pinyin ZHU / HONGZHANG; or if your ticket is a Xiamen Airlines (731)-validated ticket but contains a connecting flight or code-shared flight not actually operated by Xiamen Airlines, due to reservation system limitations, we cannot directly change it for you. Please repurchase a ticket consistent with the original itinerary (price difference may be required), cancel the original ticket seat, and apply for a free refund from the original ticketing place after travel.

 

IV. Notes

(I) If you have purchased a group ticket, the above items I, II, and the first item of III are applicable. Please contact Xiamen Airlines' 95557 customer service center for correction.

(II) The same passenger is only allowed to handle one free correction. Only one of the name or ID information can be modified at the same time. If one item has been changed, we no longer support changing the content of the other items. Please understand.

(III) According to the safety flight regulations of the U.S. and Canadian governments, if your ticket involves flights to or from the U.S. or Canada, we cannot change your name or ID information within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time. Your ticket needs to be handled according to the voluntary change and refund rules.

(IV) Please check the ticket information carefully when purchasing to ensure the accuracy of the name and ID information to avoid inconvenience during travel. If your ticket has errors beyond the scope described in the above terms, your ticket needs to be handled according to the voluntary change and refund rules.

(V) We will properly handle your request to change the name or ID information according to the actual situation, and the specific service acceptance situation is subject to Xiamen Airlines' final reply.
