Continengcy Plan for Flight Delays

Xiamen Airlines formulated the flight delay contingency plan at domestic airports in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on Normal Flight Management issued by decree No. 56 of the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China in 2016. The details are as follows:


1. After the occurrence of flight delay, the cabin crew shall inform the passengers every 30 minutes of the flight information such as the reason for the delay and the expected delay time.


2. During the flight delay, Xiamen Airlines will guarantee the lavatory available on the premise of not affecting aviation safety. If the flight is delayed for 2 hours or longer, Xiamen Airlines shall provide drinking water and food for the passengers.


3. If the flight is delayed for 3 hours or longer and there is no definite departure time, Xiamen Airlines will arrange passengers to disembark and wait on the premise of not  violating aviation safety and security regulations.


4. Xiamen Airlines will cooperate with the ground service units to provide services during the delay.
